By using FrameItOrDidntHappen (the “Service”), operated by FrameItOrDidntHappen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FrameItOrDidntHappen lets you turn a route (one of your own Strava activities, a GPX file you upload, or a race course from our catalogue) into poster artwork for personal use, which you can buy either as a digital file to download, or as a poster print or framed print we have made to order and post to you.
You must be at least 16 years old. To connect Strava, you must have a Strava account you are authorised to use.
If you connect Strava, you authorise us to access your Strava data to provide the Service. Your use of Strava data must comply with Strava's own terms, and you may revoke access at any time.
You retain all rights to your activity data. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to create and deliver your poster. The poster you generate is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use.
The FrameItOrDidntHappen software, designs, templates and branding are owned by us. Strava's name and marks belong to Strava.
We sell two separate products, and each order tells you at checkout which one you are buying. A digital file is the high-resolution poster file itself. A print is the physical poster, as a poster print or, in a frame, a framed print, made and posted by us. A print does not include the digital file, and a digital file is not printed or posted. If you want both, both are added to your order and priced separately. Prices are shown at checkout and processed by Stripe. Prices are final. No VAT (BTW) is charged, as we apply the Dutch small-business scheme (kleineondernemersregeling).
A discount code takes its discount off the goods in your order, including a gift you are buying, and never off delivery. One code applies per order, and a gift code counts as that code, so the two cannot be combined.
A digital file is made available immediately on successful payment and stays available for 1 month after purchase (see “Data retention” in our Privacy Policy); please save your poster within that window. Digital files are available worldwide. Physical prints are made to order, dispatched by us, and carried by PostNL to the Netherlands and the European Union. Delivery times vary by destination, and we email a tracking link once your order is posted.
For an address in Rotterdam (postcodes 3011 to 3089), checkout may offer free delivery by hand instead of by post. If you choose it, we deliver your print to that address ourselves within 7 days of your order, may phone you to arrange a time, and email you once it has been delivered. A hand delivery has no tracking link.
For a digital file: the poster is a digital product delivered immediately. By completing checkout you expressly ask us to begin delivery at once and acknowledge that, once the download has been made available to you, you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that EU consumers normally have for distance purchases. If a download fails, or the file is faulty, email us at contact@frameitordidnthappen.com and we will re-issue it or refund you.
For a print: each print is made to order from the artwork you designed, so it is a good made to your specifications and clearly personalised. Under EU consumer law the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to such goods, and it does not apply to your print. This does not affect your statutory rights if something is wrong with it: if your print arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, email us at contact@frameitordidnthappen.com within a reasonable time, with a photo if you can, and we will reprint it or refund you. If you spot a mistake in your order, email us straight away: we can usually change or cancel it any time before we start printing.
Gifting a poster (at /gift) buys one specific product for someone else: a digital file, or a print (a product and a size) together with its delivery to a stated area: by hand in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, or the rest of the EU. Your recipient designs their own poster from any route. A digital gift covers one digital file at any size; your recipient may instead use it towards a print, where it covers the price of a digital file and they pay the rest and its delivery. A print gift is worth that print's price towards one poster: if your recipient chooses the print you chose and has it delivered within the area you chose, they pay nothing further. They may instead choose a different size or format: for a dearer one they pay the difference, and for a cheaper one the rest of the gift's value is not refunded or credited. If their own order needs a larger, pricier parcel, they pay the difference; a cheaper or already-free delivery is not refunded. A print gift does not include the digital file as well as the print. A gift cannot be split across several posters. It is redeemable for 24 months from purchase; after that it lapses and cannot be used. A gift can be exchanged for a different product, size or delivery area before it is redeemed by emailing us at contact@frameitordidnthappen.com; we do not refund a price difference either way. You may cancel an unredeemed gift at any time by emailing contact@frameitordidnthappen.com, and we will refund in full what you paid for it, also when it was bought in the same order as something else; within 14 days of purchase this is your statutory right, and afterwards it remains our policy while the gift has not been used. Once a gift has been redeemed, the value has been delivered as a personalised poster and it can no longer be cancelled or refunded; the normal returns process above then applies to what was delivered, and is your recipient's to use.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or resell or redistribute generated posters except as permitted by your personal-use licence.
The Service is provided “as is”. Route, elevation and other metrics depend on the data they come from (Strava, your GPX file or device, or a published race course), and we do not warrant their accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and disconnect Strava at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
